7 chakras of Mother Earth location

Mother Earth, also known as Gaia, is believed to have seven energetic centers called Earth chakras. These chakras are considered to be powerful energy points that play a significant role in maintaining the health and balance of the planet. The locations of the Earth chakras can vary depending on different interpretations and beliefs, but here is one common understanding:

1. Root Chakra (Mt. Shasta, California, USA): Located at Mt. Shasta in California, this chakra represents the foundation and stability of the Earth. It is associated with grounding, survival, and the connection with the physical world.

2. Sacral Chakra (Lake Titicaca, Peru/Bolivia): Located in the Lake Titicaca area, bordering Peru and Bolivia, this chakra represents creativity, emotions, and fertility. It is believed to hold the energies of water and the sacred feminine.

3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Uluru-Kata Tjuta, Australia): Located in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in Australia, this chakra is associated with personal power, will, and self-confidence. It is believed to emanate the fiery energy of the sun.

4. Heart Chakra (Glastonbury/Tor, England): Located in the Glastonbury/Tor area in England, this chakra represents love, compassion, and unity. It is associated with the healing and nurturing energies of the heart.

5. Throat Chakra (Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt): Located near the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, this chakra is associated with communication, self-expression, and truth. It is believed to hold the ancient wisdom and knowledge of civilizations.

6. Third Eye Chakra (Kuh-e Malek Siah, Iran): Located in the Kuh-e Malek Siah region in Iran, this chakra represents intuition, higher consciousness, and spiritual insight. It is associated with activating the inner vision and expanding awareness.

7. Crown Chakra (Mt. Kailash, Tibet): Located at Mt. Kailash in Tibet, this chakra is associated with spiritual connection, enlightenment, and divine consciousness. It is considered the highest and most sacred Earth chakra.

It's important to note that the concept of Earth chakras is not universally accepted or supported by scientific evidence. However, it holds significance in certain spiritual and esoteric traditions as a way to connect with the Earth and its energies.

Throat Chakra: Understanding Balance and Imbalance Symptoms

Throat Chakra: Understanding Balance and Imbalance Symptoms

-written by Kalpesh Dave

The human body is made up of several chakras or energy centers that are believed to be vital for our well-being and overall health. One such chakra is the throat chakra or Vishuddha chakra. This chakra is located in the throat region and is associated with communication, self-expression, and creativity. The throat chakra is responsible for the flow of energy between the heart chakra and the third eye chakra, making it an essential component in our spiritual and emotional health.

The throat chakra is considered balanced when it is open and free-flowing. This means that an individual can express themselves clearly and effectively, and communication with others is harmonious. A balanced throat chakra also means that the individual is confident in their words and actions, and they are able to stand behind their convictions.

So, what happens when the throat chakra is imbalanced? An imbalance in this chakra can lead to a wide range of symptoms, ranging from mild to severe. Some common symptoms of an imbalanced throat chakra include:

1. Difficulty expressing oneself: This is perhaps the most common symptom of a blocked throat chakra. Individuals who have an imbalanced throat chakra may find it difficult to express themselves clearly, leaving them feeling unheard and misunderstood.

2. Fear of speaking: An imbalanced throat chakra can lead to a fear of speaking. Individuals with this symptom may feel anxious or nervous when they are required to speak in front of others.

3. Overreacting or underreacting: Those with an imbalanced throat chakra may overreact or underreact to situations, leading to misunderstandings and conflicts.

4. Inability to listen: A blocked throat chakra can result in an individual's inability to actively listen to others, leading to communication breakdowns and strained relationships.

5. Physical symptoms: An imbalanced throat chakra can manifest in various physical symptoms such as sore throat, hoarseness, thyroid problems, and neck pain.

So, how can we balance our throat chakra? There are several practices that can help to open and strengthen this chakra, including:

1. Vocal exercises: Singing or chanting can help to stimulate the throat chakra and improve its function.

2. Mindfulness: Practicing mindfulness and being present in the moment can help to calm the mind and reduce anxiety and stress.

3. Gemstone therapy: Wearing gemstones such as aquamarine, blue lace agate, or turquoise can help to balance the throat chakra.

4. Aromatherapy: Using essential oils such as lavender or peppermint can help to soothe the throat chakra and promote its healing.

5. Expressive therapy: Engaging in expressive therapies such as writing, painting, or dance can help to promote self-expression and creativity, improving the functioning of the throat chakra.

In conclusion, the throat chakra is an essential component in our overall well-being and health. A balanced throat chakra allows for effective communication, self-expression, and creativity. Understanding the symptoms of an imbalanced throat chakra is crucial in identifying and improving its function. By incorporating practices such as vocal exercises, mindfulness, gemstone therapy, aromatherapy, and expressive therapy, we can promote healing and balance in this chakra, leading to a more harmonious and fulfilled life.

Energy Balancing Affirmations

Energy Balancing Affirmations

Purpose: The below affirmations are good all round energy balancing statements that relate to specific chakras. The purposes of saying sentences are very powerful, remember everything is energy/ vibration and used in the correct manner to release emotions/ tensions etc within your own body.

For example if you say something negative about someone for 5 minutes and then stop – how do you feel now? It’s probably changed your whole physiology and feelings but conversely say something positive/ simply praise someone for 5 minutes and then stop – how you feel now. See my point.

The key to really getting these powerful affirmations (or any come to that) is getting initially into a relaxed state (the “Alpha” state), this is where powerful transformation starts.

Here is the exercise:
• Do all these steps slowly
• Stand or Sit but in a comfortable position.
• If standing leave your eyes open otherwise close your eyes and concentrate on your breath nicely, deeply and slowly breathing.

* ROOT CHAKRA

I trust my Higher Self fulfill all my needs. My life is full of prosperity.

* SPLEEN CHAKRA

I accept and acknowledge my sexuality. My physical health is strong and pure.

* SOLAR PLEXUS
In a smooth and healthy way, I release all unresolved emotions. I claim my personal power.

* HEART CHAKRA
I freely and easily give and receive love. Totally forgive others and myself for all past errors and judgments.

* THROAT CHAKRA

I easily and gracefully express my deepest feelings and emotions.

* THIRD EYE CHAKRA
My inner vision is clear and strong. I trust my intuition and inner vision.

* CROWN CHAKRAI accept and acknowledge my spirituality.

The Seven Major Chakras

The Seven Major Chakras

FIRST CHAKRA-ROOT
http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/2014/05/the-seven-major-chakras.html

Studying the individual Chakras begins with the Root Chakra, called Muladhara in Sanskrit. The Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine at the tailbone in back, and the pubic bone in front. This center holds the basic needs for survival, security and safety. The Root Chakra is powerfully related to our contact with the Earth Mother, providing us with the ability to be grounded into the Earth plane.  This is also the center of manifestation.

When you are trying to make things happen in the material world, business or material possessions, the energy to succeed will come from the First Chakra.

If this Chakra is blocked an individual may feel fearful, anxious, insecure and frustrated. Problems like obesity, anorexia nervosa, and knee troubles can occur. Root body parts include the hips, legs, lower back and sexual organs. NOTE:  A man's sexual organs are located primarily in his First Chakra, so male sexual energy is usually experienced primarily as physical.  Women’s sexual organs are located primarily in her Second Chakra, so female sexual energy is usually experienced primarily as emotional.  Both Chakras are associated with sexual energy.

Color for Root Chakra:            Red, Brown and Black
Gemstone for Root Chakra:    Garnet, Smoky Quartz, Obsidian, and Black Tourmaline

SECOND CHAKRA-BELLY (SACRAL)

http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/2014/05/the-seven-major-chakras.html
The next Chakra or Second Chakra is often referred to as the Belly or (sacral). The Second Chakra, called Swadhisthana in Sanskrit. It is located two inches below the navel and is rooted into the spine. This center holds the basic needs for sexuality, creativity, intuition, and self-worth. This Chakra is also about friendliness, creativity, and emotions. It governs people’s sense of self-worth, their confidence in their own creativity, and their ability to relate to others in an open and friendly way.  It's influenced by how emotions were expressed or repressed in the family during childhood.

Proper balance in this Chakra means the ability to flow with emotions freely and to feel and reach out to others sexually or not.  If this Chakra is blocked a person may feel emotionally explosive, manipulative, obsessed with thoughts of sex or may lack energy.    Physical problems may include, kidney weakness, stiff lower back, constipation, and muscle spasms. Belly body parts include sexual organs (women), kidneys, bladder, and large intestine.

Color for Sacral Chakra:                Orange

THIRD CHAKRA-SOLAR PLEXUS
http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/2014/05/the-seven-major-chakras.html

The Third Chakra is referred to as the Solar Plexus. The Solar Plexus called Manipura in Sanskrit. It is located two inches above the navel in the center behind the stomach. The Third Chakra is the center of personal power, the place of ego, of passions, impulses, anger and strength. It is also the center for astral travel and astral influences, receptivity of spirit guides and for psychic development. When the Third Chakra is out of balance you may lack confidence, be confused, worry about what others think, feel that others are controlling your life, and may be depressed. Physical problems may include digestive difficulties, liver problems, diabetes, nervous exhaustion, and food allergies.

When balanced you may feel cheerful, outgoing, have self-respect, expressive, enjoy taking on new challenges, and have a strong sense of personal power. The body parts for this Chakra include the stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, and small intestine.

The fourth Chakra is referred to as the heart Chakra. The Hear Chakra called Anahata in Sanskrit It is located behind the breast bone in front and on the spine between the shoulder blades in back. This is the center for love, compassion and spirituality. This center directs one's ability to love themselves and others, to give and to receive love. This is also the Chakra connecting body and mind with spirit. Almost everyone today has a hard, hurt, or broken heart, and it is no accident that heart disease is the number one killer in America today.  Deep heart hurts can result in aura obstructions called heart scars. When these scars are released, they raise a lot of old pain, but free the heart for healing and new growth.

When this Chakra is out of balance you may feel sorry for yourself, paranoid, indecisive, afraid of letting go, afraid of getting hurt, or unworthy of love.

Physical illnesses include heart attack, high blood pressure, insomnia, and difficulty in breathing.

When this Chakra is balanced you may feel compassionate, friendly, empathetic, desire to nurture others and see the good in everyone.  Body parts for the fourth Chakra include heart, lungs, circulatory system, shoulders, and upper back. The main colors used are pink and green. The Gemstones are Rose Quartz, Kunzite, and Watermelon tourmaline.

The Throat Chakra called Vishuddha in Sanskrit It is located in the V of the collarbone at the lower neck and is the center of communication, sound, and expression of creativity via thought, speech, and writing. The possibility for change, transformation and healing are located here. The throat is where anger is stored and finally let go of. When this Chakra is out of balance you may want to hold back, feel timid, be quiet, feel weak, or can't express your thoughts.

Physical illnesses or ailments include, hyperthyroid, skin irritations, ear infections, sore throat, inflammations, and back pain.  When this Chakra is balanced you may feel balanced, centered, musically or artistically inspired, and may be a good speaker. This is the center for psychic ability, higher intuition, the energies of spirit and light. It also assists in the purification of negative tendencies and in the elimination of selfish attitudes. Through the power of the sixth Chakra, you can receive guidance, channel, and tune into your Higher Self.

When this Chakra is not balanced you may feel non-assertive, afraid of success, or go the opposite way and be egotistical.  Physical symptoms may include headaches, blurred vision, blindness, and eyestrain. When this Chakra is balanced and open you are your own Master with no fear of death, are not attached to material things, and may experience telepathy, astral travel, and past lives. The seventh Chakra is referred to as the Crown. The Crown Chakra called Sahasrara in Sanskrit. It is located just behind the top of the skull. It is the center of spirituality, enlightenment, dynamic thought and energy. It allows for the inward flow of wisdom, and brings the gift of cosmic consciousness. This is also the center of connectedness with the Goddess (God), the place where life animates the physical body. The silver cord that connects the aura bodies extends from the crown.

CHAKRA ENERGY: Ways to Energize Your Chakras

CHAKRA ENERGY: Ways to Energize Your Chakras

Everyday we stimulate our chakra centers in one way or another, for example, through the different thoughts we have or physically through our senses. Daily we energize our centers, consciously or unconsciously, through various methods.

Following is a list of common ways we charge our chakra centers:

Thoughts
Thought is an energy form. Science has proven a positive thought allows our energy to flow freely and unrestricted. Whereas, negative thoughts decrease energy within our body. Every thought (whether mental or emotional) is connected to a chakra. For example, a passionate thought is a red energy stimulant, but an angry thought decreases one's positive red energy flow. This means that continual angry thoughts will lower your root chakra's energy.

The Sun
This is our most important energy source. Through light all the seven color energies flow from the sun’s rays to the earth. People, animals, plants, minerals, water and our chakras receive energy from the sun’s light. (If you are not able to enjoy the sun for a few hours daily, add a quality full spectrum light bulb to a light source in your work area or in a lamp at home.)

Food
When the sun’s rays bless all plant life, it gives the plant life/energy. Once the plant absorbs energy, the color energy that remains is the energy of that fruit, vegetable or flower. Without this energy our body could not assimilate the nutritional value of the food. Balance your chakras daily by eating foods that contain each of the seven color energies (that’s why the doctor always said to eat a plate of different colored foods... for the color value!).

Visualization
Meditation & Breathing (Yoga). Since thought is an energy form you can stimulate your chakra centers through meditation, visualization or breathing energy into your various chakra centers. By adding the color intention adds additional power from a chakra’s vibration.

Gems/Minerals
Gemstones and minerals are also energy forms. For example, crystals contain a similar crystalline structure as the human body. Crystals amplify energy and can be programmed (e.g. computer chips and watches). Wearing gemstone jewelry or placing gemstones and minerals in your environment is a simple way to absorb the stone or mineral’s healing vibrations.

Color Bathing
(One of my favourites!) Water is a conductor of energy and color is an energy. While lying in the colored water your body absorbs the vibrational frequency from the color. Take the time to give back to your body and soul! While bathing, balance that chakra by thinking about what you would like to achieve from that specific energy and maybe add the correlating aromatherapy oil. Do not use chemical food colouring to dye your water. I recommend Colour Bath by Colour Energy Corporation, as it is totally organic and therefore safe to use.

Aromatherapy
Essential oils are the pure essence of the plant or flower. Every oil has a vibration that correlates to a color. Oils contain the healing properties of herbs, flowers or plants. Use only therapeutic quality oils (inexpensive oils may contain toxins). Also never apply oils directly on your skin (dilute with a carrier oil or in a bath).

Music & Dance
Music affects us in a positive or negative way. Every musical note corresponds to a color and chakra center. Certain sounds can stimulate an emotional, mental, physical or spiritual response. E.g. Listening or dancing to primal music, such as the beating of drums, can energize your physical body and stimulate your root chakra.

Toning & Sounds
We can vocally make sounds to vibrate at the same frequency as various organs in our body. Regular toning can help keep our body’s organs functioning properly. Noise pollution can be very disturbing to our environment. Surround yourself with sounds, which make you happy and productive!

Color Tonations
By shining of light through various color filters directly onto the body, the vibration of the color will be absorbed through your skin effecting the designated area.

Solarized Water
Charge water by filling a colored glass with water or by placing a colored filter in front of a glass of water and let the sun’s rays kiss the water with color energy. Make sure the glass is not leaded and of a clean color hue.

Syntonic
Is the use of color through the eyes. Via our eyes color stimulates our pituitary gland, which in turn releases hormones connected to the correlating organ of the same frequency. Therapeutic eye glasses that are manufactured with various colored filters can be simply worn whenever you need a boost of a certain color or chakra energy. Make sure the color eyeglasses are 100% UVA & UVB coated if wearing outdoors and again the exact color tint of the lens is very, very important. Note: Unless the color glass manufacturer or distributor is aware of color therapy, chances are their colored lenses are not made for healing purposes.

Decor
Use colors consciously in your home or work environment to give you more positive and productive energy. Paint a room or add different colored pillows, artwork, carpets, etc.

Clothing
What we wear will influence our mood, mind and energy level. Light penetrates through our clothing amplifying the color energy we are wearing. The more vibrant the clothing the better the energy transfer.

Art & Color
Art and color can be used as an outlet to either express or stimulate. Surround yourself with the colors, which are suitable for what you need to accomplish in that area. Use calming colors in your bedroom and mentally stimulating colors in your workspace.

Introduction of Chakras

Introduction of Chakras

A person can collect energy from several different levels of vibrations–including color–that are utilized in various parts of the body. Throughout our body we have main energy centers, which are connected to major organs or glands that govern other body parts. Each of these main energy centers are referred to as chakra–chakra is a Sanskrit word which means wheel. A chakra is a wheel-like spinning vortex that whirls in a circular motion forming a vacuum in the center that draws in anything it encounters on its particular vibratory level.

It is said that our body contains hundred of chakras that are the key to the operation of our being. These “spinning wheels” draw-in coded information from our surroundings. Coded information can be anything from a color vibration to ultra-violet ray to a radio or micro wave to another person’s aura. In essence our chakras receive the health of our environment, including the people we are in contact with (that’s why other people’s moods have an affect on us!). As well our chakras also radiate an energy of vibration.

It is also believed that we have seven main chakra centers and that each main center is connected to our being on several different levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. On the physical level each chakra governs a main organ or gland, which is then connected to other body parts that resonate the same frequency.

Every organ, gland and body system is connected to a chakra and each chakra is connected to a color vibrational frequency. For example, the heart chakra governs the thymus gland and it is also in charge of the functioning of the heart organ, lungs, bronchia system, lymph glands, secondary circulatory system, immune system as well as the arm and hands. And the heart chakra resonates to the color green.

The seven main chakra centers are aligned along the spinal column. If there are disturbances on any level, this shows in the chakra’s vitality level. Also each of the seven main chakras is their own intelligence center. This means that each chakra is not only associated with our physical health but also controls aspects connected to our emotional, mental and belief system.

To help balance a chakra–whether on an emotional, intellectual, physical or spiritual level–we need to bring in the chakra (color) vibration, which resonates at the same frequency.

In the study of the anatomy of the aura it is important to understand the significance of the chakra system and the language of colors expressed in the aura.

The names of the seven main chakras and the master organ that each one governs is as follows:

http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/

When one part of a chakra center is out of sync it may eventually effect its other parts and possibly its neighboring chakra. When a chakra center is out of balance it generally means that it is over-active or under-active, or possibly congested or blocked. If this happens it is usually felt on a mental, emotional or physical level.

What is Energy & Why does It Affect Our Chakras?

Sunlight is our main source and provider of light, heat and energy. Not only does sunlight sustain all life on Earth, but also it sustains the Earth itself. It provides plants with the energy for photosynthesis, which in turn sustains the lives of all animals and humans. Sunlight consists of energies in the form of the electromagnetic waves and part of this electromagnetic energy includes cosmic rays, gamma rays, x-rays, visible light rays, infrared rays, micro waves and short and long waves (radio waves). We utilize many of these energies in our daily lives; however, we seem not to put much emphasis on the visible light rays. We refer to them as the visible light rays because of all the energies mentioned above we can see visually see light rays. By holding a prism towards the sun, we can break down the visible spectrum of light rays into seven different beams of color. Light consists of the seven color energies: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. We can see these seven colors in a rainbow, drop of rain or dew and even in a snowflake.

Color and light are inseparable. Each color of the visible light rays has a different wavelength and vibrational frequency, which affects us differently. Red has the longest wavelength and the slowest vibrational frequency, which we innately recognize as warm and stimulating. Whereas, violet has the shortest wavelength and the fastest frequency that we recognize as a cool and calming energy. We receive light and color information through our eyes, which then stimulates the retina and its cells, rods and cones. These impulses, which travel through the optic nerve to the visual cortex of the brain via the pituitary, trigger other glands and their hormone secretion to various parts of the body. Many body functions are stimulated or retarded by light and the different colors of light and thus affect our chakra system.

Since light and its colors physically affect glands and hormones, they will also have a marked influence on our moods and feelings. Science has proven that certain colors can calm the mind while others stimulate mental activity. We need light energy for nourishing our brain, our emotions and our physical body as well as our light bodies and especially our chakras. Light can also enter through our skin and our breath. As well, we can receive additional color energy through a balance of various colored foods, herbs, vitamins, aromatherapy, sound, minerals, clothing, decor and color bathing.

Importance of Our Chakra System

In reality little is known and understood about the human psyche and its intricate systems. However, medical science has proven that toxins and other impurities, which include negative thoughts, chemical enhancements in our food and other poor environmental factors, influence our body. Constant forms of “pollution” can cause chakra imbalances to manifest, which may eventually affect us on a physical level. Since traditional health care systems at this time are unable to naturally or totally alleviate symptoms or cure our problems, this means it is up to each individual to improve their health conditions. We also have to consider that we may be our own best doctor. So understanding the chakra system is more about how you can help improve your own state of health and all levels of your being.
