Do's and Dont's of Spirit Guide Contact

Do's and Dont's of Spirit Guide Contact

Do’s
Don’t
1)
DO simple / basic protection rituals before you begin (see below).  This is of vital importance in order to keep spirits of lower vibrational frequencies away from you during your session.  Such spirits are often lost on the Earth plane unaware that they are dead, or they could even be demonic in nature.  A simple protection ritual will safeguard you against any undesirable spirit encounters.

DON'T expect any famous historical personages, dead rock stars, or religious icons to put in an appearance. All of these cases have been known to happen, but usually our ego wishing for contact with such religious figures; such as, Christ, Buddha, Krishna, and others, can be Guides, but usually this will not be the very first Spirit Guide to make their presence known to you.

2)
DO always prepare for the unexpected.  Turn the ringer off on the phone, put the volume of the answering machine on zero, lock the door, if others are in the house ask them to please not disturb you for any reason - unless the house is burning down, of course.  Make sure you are seated in a comfortable position and that you have pen or pencil and paper handy to write down any impressions or messages you may receive.

DON'T have any preconceived notions of who or what your Spirit Guide may be.  This could lead to a great big disappointment. A client of mine took my Spirit Guide class convinced her guide would be some person of renown from ancient, since that is where her interests lay.   Instead, she got a talking Octopus!!!  Imagine her surprise!  However, the Octopus had many important things to say and still offers his guidance to her to this day.  This is a case of an Animal Spirit who acts as a Spirit Guide.

3)
DO keep a special book set aside to be used as a journal in which you note all of your spiritual encounters.  This journal will prove to be an invaluable source of information to you over the coming weeks, months, even years.

DON'T share what you are doing with others who are not of like mind.  Laugh at and disbelief will undermine your attempts by introducing negative energy into an otherwise very positive and uplifting experience.

4)
DO believe you will make contact.  For some, contact occurs with the very first session, for others, it can take weeks, but persistence always pays off, so just stick to it and your Spirit Guide will make him or herself known to you
DON'T expect your Spirit Guide to be able to predict the future by asking him or her, "when will I win the lottery?"  Spirit Guides do not predict the future unless that was part of their personal expertise while alive.  They also will not know what the winning lotto numbers for the upcoming lotto drawing will be.  Believe me; I've tried this more than once!!

How to connect with Own Spirit Guides

How to connect with Own Spirit Guides

http://karmagyan-reiki.com/

All of us have an Angel.  They are all around us if we could only perceive them.  Often confused with angels, they are souls who walk amongst us who are here to help, offer guidance, comfort, and yes - even advice.  Just what are these spirits and where do they come from?  They are known as Spirit Guides and they come from the Realm (Kingdom) of Spirit, or the Other Side (Different world).

A Spirit Guide, unlike an Angel, was once a human being, like you and I.  They lived their life, performed their tasks, died, and crossed over to the Other Side.  Some choose to come back, to reincarnate in a new life, in a new place.  Others, however, make the choice to remain in Spirit so they can learn and spiritually advance while helping others still living to learn their life's lessons.  This is a Spirit Guide.

Spirit Guides, as former human beings, are well aware of the problems we face in our everyday lives.  They were once concerned with very similar matters.  They tend to have their own special areas of expertise, often based on past personal experiences or careers they have had in a past life.

Your Spirit Guide, unlike your Guardian Angel, comes & goes in your life.  A Guardian Angel is with you from birth until death.  A Spirit Guide, on the other hand, comes into your life when an issue arises that falls under a guide's field of expertise.  So, Spirit Guides often come and go, changing as the situations in your life change, and as you change and grow, you attract new guides to you.

Your Spirit Guide is always there to help you.  This is their sole purpose, to offer the living their help and guidance.  However, as spirits, they operate on a higher vibration frequency than mortals do, so the majority of us cannot see them, cannot hear them, and cannot sense their presence.

So, how do we know when a Spirit Guide is trying to make contact with us?

Unless you are fairly intuitive, most of us are not consciously aware of when a Spirit Guide attempts to make contact with us.  Think of the random thoughts that occur to you throughout your day.  Hmm, no, that's too much.  What about the random thoughts that occur to you in just 3 minutes?

Take this simple test.  Try to focus & sustain your thought on one goal:

"I wish to make contact with my Spirit Guide."

All right, 3 minutes have passed.

How many of you were able to sustain your thoughts for 3 minutes without having single unrelated thoughts enter in your mind???  I'm willing to bet very few of you were able to do this, unless you already practice some form of meditation or guided visualization techniques.

You see, your brain is like a giant. It processes input continuously while you are awake and even when you are asleep.  Unless you perform this simple exercise inside a sensory deprivation chamber, other thoughts are going to occur to you.  For example, I also tried this exercise.  I do not meditate, however I practice visualization & focusing techniques when I perform spells & readings.  Yet, when I did this simple exercise here are some thoughts that occurred to me in ONLY 3 minutes:

My wrist itches

When I will finish my work?

The air conditioner seems extra loud

I hope my daughter doesn't interrupt me

You probably had a very similar experience, perhaps not the same thoughts as I (now that would be something!), but I am sure some random thoughts interrupted your focus.  This is normal because this is just how the brain works.  When this occurs, merely bring your thoughts to focus back on your objective:

"I wish to make contact with my Spirit Guide."
In time, you will find that you are capable of sustaining this thought for longer periods of time before random thoughts begin to enter your head.  When you actually do attempt to make contact with your Spirit Guide, the ability to focus becomes very important.

Violet Flame for Improving Relationships

Violet Flame for Improving Relationships

Do you have a problem with a co-worker who irritates you? Do you have a relationship with a friend or family member that’s a little rocky? Or do you just want to nurture a relationship that’s going well? The violet flame can help you. It is able to transmute the negative energy of resentment, anger and blame because it has the vibration of mercy and forgiveness. You can use the violet flame to help take the rough edges off difficult relationships and harmonize your interactions with others.

Use the following exercise to focus the energy of the violet flame into any relationship you wish to improve. If visualization is difficult for you, just think about the words of the affirmations as you say them.

Before starting this exercise, you need to find a place where you won't be disturbed.Sit comfortably in a straight chair, with your spine and head erect, legs and arms uncrossed and feet flat on the floor.Rest your hands on your upper legs, with palms facing upwards.

STEP 1    Think of a relationship that you wish to improve.

STEP 2    Go within and consciously draw all your attention and energy to   the point of your heart. You may want to place your hand over your heart to help you focus your attention there.

STEP 3    Breathe deeply several times until you feel calm and centered.

STEP 4    Give the following prayer out loud.

By the power of the light and love within my heart,
I send forth Violet Flame to the heart of:
_________________________________________
(name of person to whom you are sending forgiveness)

I ask that the Violet Flame of forgiveness also be delivered by angels to everyone I have ever wronged and to everyone who has ever wronged me.

STEP 5   Concentrate on the image of the Violet Flame.Close your eyes and see this image in your mind.

STEP 6   Now see the violet flame surrounding and interpenetrating your heart.

STEP 7    Next, visualize sending the violet flame from your heart to the heart of the person with whom you are seeking resolution.

STEP 8    See this violet flame expand until you and this person are sealed in an ovoid of pulsating violet flame.

STEP 9    Continue your visualization while giving the following affirmations for about five minutes. Speak them out loud, rhythmically and energetically.

1.  I am loving, lovable and loved.
2.  I accept others for who they are and who they are not.
3.  I joyously forgive others and myself and I set myself free from the past. I am at peace.
4.  I love and accept myself exactly as I am now.
5.  I attract loving relationships into my life.
6.  I love.  I am love.
7.  I respect and care about others.
8.  I am grateful for the people in my life.
9.  I deserve love in my life.
10. I love everything about myself.

STEP 10   Give the following prayer out loud.

"I am grateful, O God, for the release of light into this relationship. I ask that the action of the violet flame be expanded for the resolution of discord among all people on earth. Fill every heart with peace and mercy. Please protect me and all those serving the light. Let my prayers and affirmations be fulfilled according to your holy will."

Observe the results:

1)The next time you see the person you've been praying about, notice any changes in your relationship.

2)Continue giving this exercise as long as needed to improve the relationship.

----Stay Blessed----

The Seven Major Chakras

The Seven Major Chakras

FIRST CHAKRA-ROOT
http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/2014/05/the-seven-major-chakras.html

Studying the individual Chakras begins with the Root Chakra, called Muladhara in Sanskrit. The Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine at the tailbone in back, and the pubic bone in front. This center holds the basic needs for survival, security and safety. The Root Chakra is powerfully related to our contact with the Earth Mother, providing us with the ability to be grounded into the Earth plane.  This is also the center of manifestation.

When you are trying to make things happen in the material world, business or material possessions, the energy to succeed will come from the First Chakra.

If this Chakra is blocked an individual may feel fearful, anxious, insecure and frustrated. Problems like obesity, anorexia nervosa, and knee troubles can occur. Root body parts include the hips, legs, lower back and sexual organs. NOTE:  A man's sexual organs are located primarily in his First Chakra, so male sexual energy is usually experienced primarily as physical.  Women’s sexual organs are located primarily in her Second Chakra, so female sexual energy is usually experienced primarily as emotional.  Both Chakras are associated with sexual energy.

Color for Root Chakra:            Red, Brown and Black
Gemstone for Root Chakra:    Garnet, Smoky Quartz, Obsidian, and Black Tourmaline

SECOND CHAKRA-BELLY (SACRAL)

http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/2014/05/the-seven-major-chakras.html
The next Chakra or Second Chakra is often referred to as the Belly or (sacral). The Second Chakra, called Swadhisthana in Sanskrit. It is located two inches below the navel and is rooted into the spine. This center holds the basic needs for sexuality, creativity, intuition, and self-worth. This Chakra is also about friendliness, creativity, and emotions. It governs people’s sense of self-worth, their confidence in their own creativity, and their ability to relate to others in an open and friendly way.  It's influenced by how emotions were expressed or repressed in the family during childhood.

Proper balance in this Chakra means the ability to flow with emotions freely and to feel and reach out to others sexually or not.  If this Chakra is blocked a person may feel emotionally explosive, manipulative, obsessed with thoughts of sex or may lack energy.    Physical problems may include, kidney weakness, stiff lower back, constipation, and muscle spasms. Belly body parts include sexual organs (women), kidneys, bladder, and large intestine.

Color for Sacral Chakra:                Orange
Gemstone for Sacral Chakra:    Carnelian Agate, Orange Calcite and Tigers Eye

THIRD CHAKRA-SOLAR PLEXUS
http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/2014/05/the-seven-major-chakras.html

The Third Chakra is referred to as the Solar Plexus. The Solar Plexus called Manipura in Sanskrit. It is located two inches above the navel in the center behind the stomach. The Third Chakra is the center of personal power, the place of ego, of passions, impulses, anger and strength. It is also the center for astral travel and astral influences, receptivity of spirit guides and for psychic development. When the Third Chakra is out of balance you may lack confidence, be confused, worry about what others think, feel that others are controlling your life, and may be depressed. Physical problems may include digestive difficulties, liver problems, diabetes, nervous exhaustion, and food allergies.

When balanced you may feel cheerful, outgoing, have self-respect, expressive, enjoy taking on new challenges, and have a strong sense of personal power. The body parts for this Chakra include the stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, and small intestine.

FOURTH CHAKRA- HEART

http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/2014/05/the-seven-major-chakras.html

The fourth Chakra is referred to as the heart Chakra. The Hear Chakra called Anahata in Sanskrit It is located behind the breast bone in front and on the spine between the shoulder blades in back. This is the center for love, compassion and spirituality. This center directs one's ability to love themselves and others, to give and to receive love. This is also the Chakra connecting body and mind with spirit. Almost everyone today has a hard, hurt, or broken heart, and it is no accident that heart disease is the number one killer in America today.  Deep heart hurts can result in aura obstructions called heart scars. When these scars are released, they raise a lot of old pain, but free the heart for healing and new growth.

When this Chakra is out of balance you may feel sorry for yourself, paranoid, indecisive, afraid of letting go, afraid of getting hurt, or unworthy of love.

Physical illnesses include heart attack, high blood pressure, insomnia, and difficulty in breathing.

When this Chakra is balanced you may feel compassionate, friendly, empathetic, desire to nurture others and see the good in everyone.  Body parts for the fourth Chakra include heart, lungs, circulatory system, shoulders, and upper back. The main colors used are pink and green. The Gemstones are Rose Quartz, Kunzite, and Watermelon tourmaline.

FIFTH CHAKRA-THROAT

The fifth Chakra is referred to as the Throat. The Throat Chakra called Vishuddha in Sanskrit It is located in the V of the collarbone at the lower neck and is the center of communication, sound, and expression of creativity via thought, speech, and writing. The possibility for change, transformation and healing are located here. The throat is where anger is stored and finally let go of. When this Chakra is out of balance you may want to hold back, feel timid, be quiet, feel weak, or can't express your thoughts.

Physical illnesses or ailments include, hyperthyroid, skin irritations, ear infections, sore throat, inflammations, and back pain.  When this Chakra is balanced you may feel balanced, centered, musically or artistically inspired, and may be a good speaker. Body parts for the fifth Chakra are throat, neck, teeth, ears, and thyroid gland.

SIXTH CHAKRA- THIRD EYE
http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/2014/05/the-seven-major-chakras.html

The sixth Chakra is referred to as the Third Eye. The Third Eye Chakra called Anjana in Sanskrit. It is located above the physical eyes on the center of the forehead. This is the center for psychic ability, higher intuition, the energies of spirit and light. It also assists in the purification of negative tendencies and in the elimination of selfish attitudes. Through the power of the sixth Chakra, you can receive guidance, channel, and tune into your Higher Self.

When this Chakra is not balanced you may feel non-assertive, afraid of success, or go the opposite way and be egotistical.  Physical symptoms may include headaches, blurred vision, blindness, and eyestrain. When this Chakra is balanced and open you are your own Master with no fear of death, are not attached to material things, and may experience telepathy, astral travel, and past lives. Sixth Chakra body parts include the eyes, face, and brain, lymphatic and endocrine system.

Color for Third Eye Chakra:        Purple, Indigo Blue, Violet, and Dark blue

SEVENTH CHAKRA-THE CROWN

http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/2014/05/the-seven-major-chakras.html

The seventh Chakra is referred to as the Crown. The Crown Chakra called Sahasrara in Sanskrit. It is located just behind the top of the skull. It is the center of spirituality, enlightenment, dynamic thought and energy. It allows for the inward flow of wisdom, and brings the gift of cosmic consciousness. This is also the center of connectedness with the Goddess (God), the place where life animates the physical body. The silver cord that connects the aura bodies extends from the crown.

CHAKRA ENERGY: Ways to Energize Your Chakras

CHAKRA ENERGY: Ways to Energize Your Chakras

Everyday we stimulate our chakra centers in one way or another, for example, through the different thoughts we have or physically through our senses. Daily we energize our centers, consciously or unconsciously, through various methods.

Following is a list of common ways we charge our chakra centers:

Thoughts
Thought is an energy form. Science has proven a positive thought allows our energy to flow freely and unrestricted. Whereas, negative thoughts decrease energy within our body. Every thought (whether mental or emotional) is connected to a chakra. For example, a passionate thought is a red energy stimulant, but an angry thought decreases one's positive red energy flow. This means that continual angry thoughts will lower your root chakra's energy.

The Sun
This is our most important energy source. Through light all the seven color energies flow from the sun’s rays to the earth. People, animals, plants, minerals, water and our chakras receive energy from the sun’s light. (If you are not able to enjoy the sun for a few hours daily, add a quality full spectrum light bulb to a light source in your work area or in a lamp at home.)

Food
When the sun’s rays bless all plant life, it gives the plant life/energy. Once the plant absorbs energy, the color energy that remains is the energy of that fruit, vegetable or flower. Without this energy our body could not assimilate the nutritional value of the food. Balance your chakras daily by eating foods that contain each of the seven color energies (that’s why the doctor always said to eat a plate of different colored foods... for the color value!).

Visualization
Meditation & Breathing (Yoga). Since thought is an energy form you can stimulate your chakra centers through meditation, visualization or breathing energy into your various chakra centers. By adding the color intention adds additional power from a chakra’s vibration.

Gems/Minerals
Gemstones and minerals are also energy forms. For example, crystals contain a similar crystalline structure as the human body. Crystals amplify energy and can be programmed (e.g. computer chips and watches). Wearing gemstone jewelry or placing gemstones and minerals in your environment is a simple way to absorb the stone or mineral’s healing vibrations.

Color Bathing
(One of my favourites!) Water is a conductor of energy and color is an energy. While lying in the colored water your body absorbs the vibrational frequency from the color. Take the time to give back to your body and soul! While bathing, balance that chakra by thinking about what you would like to achieve from that specific energy and maybe add the correlating aromatherapy oil. Do not use chemical food colouring to dye your water. I recommend Colour Bath by Colour Energy Corporation, as it is totally organic and therefore safe to use.

Aromatherapy
Essential oils are the pure essence of the plant or flower. Every oil has a vibration that correlates to a color. Oils contain the healing properties of herbs, flowers or plants. Use only therapeutic quality oils (inexpensive oils may contain toxins). Also never apply oils directly on your skin (dilute with a carrier oil or in a bath).

Music & Dance
Music affects us in a positive or negative way. Every musical note corresponds to a color and chakra center. Certain sounds can stimulate an emotional, mental, physical or spiritual response. E.g. Listening or dancing to primal music, such as the beating of drums, can energize your physical body and stimulate your root chakra.

Toning & Sounds
We can vocally make sounds to vibrate at the same frequency as various organs in our body. Regular toning can help keep our body’s organs functioning properly. Noise pollution can be very disturbing to our environment. Surround yourself with sounds, which make you happy and productive!

Color Tonations
By shining of light through various color filters directly onto the body, the vibration of the color will be absorbed through your skin effecting the designated area.

Solarized Water
Charge water by filling a colored glass with water or by placing a colored filter in front of a glass of water and let the sun’s rays kiss the water with color energy. Make sure the glass is not leaded and of a clean color hue.

Syntonic
Is the use of color through the eyes. Via our eyes color stimulates our pituitary gland, which in turn releases hormones connected to the correlating organ of the same frequency. Therapeutic eye glasses that are manufactured with various colored filters can be simply worn whenever you need a boost of a certain color or chakra energy. Make sure the color eyeglasses are 100% UVA & UVB coated if wearing outdoors and again the exact color tint of the lens is very, very important. Note: Unless the color glass manufacturer or distributor is aware of color therapy, chances are their colored lenses are not made for healing purposes.

Decor
Use colors consciously in your home or work environment to give you more positive and productive energy. Paint a room or add different colored pillows, artwork, carpets, etc.

Clothing
What we wear will influence our mood, mind and energy level. Light penetrates through our clothing amplifying the color energy we are wearing. The more vibrant the clothing the better the energy transfer.

Art & Color
Art and color can be used as an outlet to either express or stimulate. Surround yourself with the colors, which are suitable for what you need to accomplish in that area. Use calming colors in your bedroom and mentally stimulating colors in your workspace.

Introduction of Chakras

Introduction of Chakras

A person can collect energy from several different levels of vibrations–including color–that are utilized in various parts of the body. Throughout our body we have main energy centers, which are connected to major organs or glands that govern other body parts. Each of these main energy centers are referred to as chakra–chakra is a Sanskrit word which means wheel. A chakra is a wheel-like spinning vortex that whirls in a circular motion forming a vacuum in the center that draws in anything it encounters on its particular vibratory level.

It is said that our body contains hundred of chakras that are the key to the operation of our being. These “spinning wheels” draw-in coded information from our surroundings. Coded information can be anything from a color vibration to ultra-violet ray to a radio or micro wave to another person’s aura. In essence our chakras receive the health of our environment, including the people we are in contact with (that’s why other people’s moods have an affect on us!). As well our chakras also radiate an energy of vibration.

It is also believed that we have seven main chakra centers and that each main center is connected to our being on several different levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. On the physical level each chakra governs a main organ or gland, which is then connected to other body parts that resonate the same frequency.

Every organ, gland and body system is connected to a chakra and each chakra is connected to a color vibrational frequency. For example, the heart chakra governs the thymus gland and it is also in charge of the functioning of the heart organ, lungs, bronchia system, lymph glands, secondary circulatory system, immune system as well as the arm and hands. And the heart chakra resonates to the color green.

The seven main chakra centers are aligned along the spinal column. If there are disturbances on any level, this shows in the chakra’s vitality level. Also each of the seven main chakras is their own intelligence center. This means that each chakra is not only associated with our physical health but also controls aspects connected to our emotional, mental and belief system.

To help balance a chakra–whether on an emotional, intellectual, physical or spiritual level–we need to bring in the chakra (color) vibration, which resonates at the same frequency.

In the study of the anatomy of the aura it is important to understand the significance of the chakra system and the language of colors expressed in the aura.

The names of the seven main chakras and the master organ that each one governs is as follows:

http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/

When one part of a chakra center is out of sync it may eventually effect its other parts and possibly its neighboring chakra. When a chakra center is out of balance it generally means that it is over-active or under-active, or possibly congested or blocked. If this happens it is usually felt on a mental, emotional or physical level.

What is Energy & Why does It Affect Our Chakras?

Sunlight is our main source and provider of light, heat and energy. Not only does sunlight sustain all life on Earth, but also it sustains the Earth itself. It provides plants with the energy for photosynthesis, which in turn sustains the lives of all animals and humans. Sunlight consists of energies in the form of the electromagnetic waves and part of this electromagnetic energy includes cosmic rays, gamma rays, x-rays, visible light rays, infrared rays, micro waves and short and long waves (radio waves). We utilize many of these energies in our daily lives; however, we seem not to put much emphasis on the visible light rays. We refer to them as the visible light rays because of all the energies mentioned above we can see visually see light rays. By holding a prism towards the sun, we can break down the visible spectrum of light rays into seven different beams of color. Light consists of the seven color energies: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. We can see these seven colors in a rainbow, drop of rain or dew and even in a snowflake.

Color and light are inseparable. Each color of the visible light rays has a different wavelength and vibrational frequency, which affects us differently. Red has the longest wavelength and the slowest vibrational frequency, which we innately recognize as warm and stimulating. Whereas, violet has the shortest wavelength and the fastest frequency that we recognize as a cool and calming energy. We receive light and color information through our eyes, which then stimulates the retina and its cells, rods and cones. These impulses, which travel through the optic nerve to the visual cortex of the brain via the pituitary, trigger other glands and their hormone secretion to various parts of the body. Many body functions are stimulated or retarded by light and the different colors of light and thus affect our chakra system.

Since light and its colors physically affect glands and hormones, they will also have a marked influence on our moods and feelings. Science has proven that certain colors can calm the mind while others stimulate mental activity. We need light energy for nourishing our brain, our emotions and our physical body as well as our light bodies and especially our chakras. Light can also enter through our skin and our breath. As well, we can receive additional color energy through a balance of various colored foods, herbs, vitamins, aromatherapy, sound, minerals, clothing, decor and color bathing.

Importance of Our Chakra System

In reality little is known and understood about the human psyche and its intricate systems. However, medical science has proven that toxins and other impurities, which include negative thoughts, chemical enhancements in our food and other poor environmental factors, influence our body. Constant forms of “pollution” can cause chakra imbalances to manifest, which may eventually affect us on a physical level. Since traditional health care systems at this time are unable to naturally or totally alleviate symptoms or cure our problems, this means it is up to each individual to improve their health conditions. We also have to consider that we may be our own best doctor. So understanding the chakra system is more about how you can help improve your own state of health and all levels of your being.

http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/
The benefit of learning about your own chakra system is for you to understand on a whole (whole = body, mind and spirit in harmony) that when all parts of you (all of your seven chakra centers) are communicating equally and working in alliance with each other, you will have little or no energy disorders. For example, if the mental part of you is powerful and so are the physical, emotional and spiritual parts of you equally as strong, it is then that you feel at your optimum level.

Nowadays, we live in a fast world and often forget about our “whole.” We put too much emphasis on independence and very little on interdependence. Our chakras are interdependent on each other for harmony and balance.

The emphasize of this website is to educate you on your complete chakra system so you can take control of your life and become the best you possibly can in this lifetime. No one else is totally responsible for you... except you!

Your mind alone cannot nurture your whole being, nor can a proper food diet solve all your problems. It is important to understand that “all of you” has to be understood in order to keep “your house” in order.

If there is a disturbance on any level, this shows in a chakra’s vitality level. And each of the seven main chakras has its own innate intelligence and function. Similar to how your body functions automatically, your chakra centers also operate automatically. If you are to understand your chakra system then you must learn what each chakra’s function is and how it represents a part of your “whole.”

Symptoms of Chakra Imbalance

Symptoms of Chakra Imbalance

http://www.karmagyan-reiki.com/2014/05/symptoms-of-chakra-imbalance.html

The Chakras are energy centers within our subtle bodies, or our spiritual bodies, that are connected to our physical bodies. When one or more of the chakras are in a state of imbalance, the mind/body health becomes compromised since imbalanced chakras are those that have blocks. A blockage in the chakra comes from traumatic or negative experiences during a lifetime that have not been released. Negative thoughts or belief patterns will also cause blocks. Many times, one does not even know there are blocks, until the body suddenly demonstrates symptoms. Note that once the body is showing a physical symptom, the chakra has been blocked for some time. Although many believe that an illness causes a block in the chakra, it is really the other way around. The chakras are enabling healing by allowing the body to speak to the mind in many wonderful ways. As the message of pain or discomfort reaches the brain, most people will run immediately to the doctor, or in a worst case scenario, ignore the message.

Once the concept of Chakra Balancing is understood as a valid healing method, as every message saying something is off balance in the body or mind is received by the brain, the easiest and most efficient recourse would be to go into a Healing Chakra mode. These healings can be carried out by oneself, or by a qualified healer. There are many, many healing techniques available today to be learned or experienced that will clear and release blocks in chakras. Some of the better known are Meditation, Reiki, Crystal Healing, Reflexology, Acupuncture, Yoga, Acupressure, and Emotional Freedom Technique (otherwise known as EFT or Tapping).

It is known that as of today, there are hundreds of chakras in and around the bodies, with apparently new ones appearing as Universal Awareness becomes more developed. There are the major seven that are used for healing and balancing.

The following information will focus on different symptoms of each seven chakra in our body:

Base Chakra
This is first chakra, located at base of spine at tailbone in back and public bone in front.

Symptoms of imbalance: Lower back pain, constipation or diarrhoea, knee pain, gout, rage and anger, fear, egocentricity, spinal cord dysfunction, lethargy, exhaustion, addictive personality, not grounded, financial difficulties.

Sacral/Water/Sex Chakra
This is the second chakra, located at the two inches below the navel and rooted into spine.

Symptoms of imbalance: Lack of sexual desire or passion, sterility, infertility, jealousy, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, miscarriages, sexual addiction, sexual diseases, creative blocks.

Solar Plexus
This is the third chakra, located above the naval in the center behind the stomach.

Symptoms of imbalance: Need for excessive control and power, fears, stomach ailments, anger, nightmares, aggressive behaviour, ulcers, feelings of victimization, lack of self-confidence, bulimia, obesity, anorexia, isolationism, indigestion, feeling overwhelmed.

Heart Chakra
This is the fourth chakra, located behind the breast bone in front and on the spine between the shoulders blades in back.

Symptoms of imbalance: Heart attacks, poor circulation, angina, high blood pressure, self-hatred, asthma, lack of independence, acting naïve, suffocating others in loving and giving, lack of compassion, intolerance, weak immune system, lack of joy.

Throat Chakra
This is the fifth chakra, located in the V of the Collarbone at the lower neck.

Symptoms of imbalance: Sore throats, laryngitis, fear of public speaking, too talkative or too shy, the need to be an expert, inability to tell the truth, inability to speak one’s opinion, thyroid disease, anxiety, hyperactivity, lack of creativity, nightmares.

Third Eye
This is the sixth chakra, located centrally at the forehead between the eyebrows.

Symptoms of imbalance: Astronaut personality, spacey, too logical or too abstract, too many thoughts at once, migraines, forgetfulness, inability to remember dreams, inability to meditate, visualize or connect with inner guidance on the higher levels, poor eyesight, and tension, inability to concentrate or stay focused.

Crown Chakra
This is the seventh chakra, located at the top of the Skull.

Symptoms of imbalance: Inability to connect to physical world, confusion, headaches, hallucinations, mental illness, worry, dominant ego.

All chakras are inter-related, although they rule over different characteristics and functions. If one chakra is unbalanced, it could be due to the chakra below it being unbalanced. They work individually and cooperatively at the same time. Therefore, it is important when balancing and clearing the chakras that they be treated simultaneously, that is to say, in the same session.

The symptoms listed here are a result of not enough energy being circulated to and within the chakra, due to blocks. Blocks are seen as black or muddy energy, and it is necessary to bring in white light to clear the blackness. This is literally done by meditating, breathing, visualizing and yoga, just to mention a few of the most popular and effective ways to clear blocks by introducing white light. Maintaining an attitude of joy and gratitude at all times is an instantaneous way of clearing negative energies. Those who can intuitively see the auric field report an immediate change in colors from black to pastels and whites around the aura when a positive or joyous thought replaces a negative one.

Chakra Balancing To Release Stress

Chakra Balancing To Release Stress

Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a magic pill we could take and stay healthy and happy forever? There is something even better than a pill since pills and med are highly over-rated, as we all know. It’s called relaxation.

As one is born, and perhaps even before, there is a process of life that begins and continues till death. It is the process of experiencing. It is how one takes stock of the outer world and internalizes what happens. This is the definition of stress.  How was the birth experience for the baby and mother? A baby is hungry so it cries. How long does it take till mother comes and meets the baby’s needs? How does the baby internalize the experience? What happened in the first grade when a teacher became angry? How did it feel the first time Mom or Dad yelled at the child? The older one gets, the more intense the experiences become. There are many stages life is played on, such as family, work place, social interactions and education. Disappointments, traumas, surprises, losses and shocks all are internalized by the emotional body and stored as stress.

The baseline of stress has been established even before awareness takes place. Each subsequent negative experience just builds from there, and unless released, the place where stress is stored will become the physical body. The good news is that stress can be released. Treatment of stress is deeper than just covering it up with prescription medicines, or over the counter remedies, or alcohol or drugs. The treatment for long term health is releasing stress through chakra healing.

I used to feel stress whenever I was overwhelmed. My logical mind told me to keep pushing on until I finish everything on my list, and then I would relax, and I wouldn’t be stressed out. As logical as that seemed, it never helped. I was still stressed. It had nothing to do with finishing what I had to do, since more things to do would show up. I was on a roller coaster ride of new stress building on older stress.

Since stress is stored through experiences, it made more sense to clear the old blocks I was storing in the chakras for no good reason, and keep up with balancing. A good analogy would be cleaning your house. If you have been letting the dirt and grime build up for years, a bit of dusting will not do very much. So go deep and get to the bottom of the dirt for once and for all. Once you have done that, it will be easy to keep the house clean with periodic “balancing”.

Continuing along with the house cleaning analogy, if your house needed a serious cleaning, would you hire someone to do it, or would you tackle the job yourself? There are many qualified therapists who are specialists in chakra healing, and could get you started in probably just a few sessions. Receiving a chakra healing is one of the most refreshing and relaxing experiences you can offer yourself. It requires trust, and faith, and more often than not, a few pennies. If you are new to this type of healing, I suggest treating yourself to a session or two.  You really deserve to give yourself the best you can.

For those of you are interested in healing yourselves, I hope you will find the following guidelines useful.

What you need:

(1) Massage Table
I know not everyone has one just lying around the house, so a large and comfortable mat or futon on the floor will be just as good, similar to the ones used for Shiatsu Treatments. A bed or couch is not suitable.

(2) Pendulum
Any chain with a pointy crystal will do.  Keep the cost reasonable, but be sure that it doesn’t have any chips or cracks before you buy it. It can also double as jewelry when not being used as a diagnostic tool. Please refer to “Diagnosing the Chakras” for an explanation of how to use the pendulum.

Check out: http://lifewithcolours.in/7-chakra-colour-pendulum.html. You can find a pendulum from Rs. 200 onwards on sale.

(3) Candle, Incense, Relaxing

Meditation music.
The flame of the candle brings in the healing light, the incense cleans the area, and the music carries healing vibration in each note.

(4) Set of 7 Crystals
The Seven Major Chakras for an overview of the location and colors of each chakra so that you will know which crystals to use, and where to place them.

All the preparation is done. You have a comfortable place to lie down, the room is dark, except for the rich glow of a candle, the fragrance of your favourite incense is filling the room, along with quiet music, and you begin to relax. Pick up your pendulum and get a reading on each chakra. It helps to jot down briefly the results for each chakra, so you will have a base line for the next reading, or you can ask some to that part for you Place your crystals on the chakras, either above or under your clothing. Energies will get through either way.

Now close your eyes, and allow yourself to enter into a meditation. Inhale and exhale slowly, time after time. Free yourself from thoughts, plans, worries, and concentrate on the breathing. Give yourself this gift of healing time, because you so deserve it. You will intuitively know when to come out of the healing and meditation, but stay there peacefully and calmly until it is time. You may doze off, which is fine. The healing is still taking place. When you do come out, do not jump up or rush to take the crystals off. Stay there as long as you want. Finally, find your pendulum and do another reading. Make notes again, and compare how your chakras are now.

The outer world is still there, but it may feel different to you.  It might even be hard for you to get up, which is a good sign. It means that you are now in a new place of relaxation, and the crystals have done their work well by opening the chakras, and releasing the blocks causing stress.

When you feel you need a balancing, the process is the same. The balancing is more about keeping a steady of flow of energy in and out of the chakras, by staying in tune with what is being reflected in your body and your life. If there is something bothering the balance, you will know, and that is when you look for blocks that need clearing.

After the healing, make yourself a delicious warm cup of herbal tea, rinse off the crystals in cold water for the next time, and just enjoy your new state of peace.
